Dark garnet in the glass, but clearly headed towards a ruby hue, this wine smells of smoked meat and crushed stones. In the mouth, dark and earthy flavors of cherry and forest floor mix with crushed stone and a hint of exotic woods. Powdery tannins coat the mouth and linger with notes of dried plum in the finish. A blend of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot, 13% Petit Verdot, 6% Cabernet Franc, 5% Sangiovese, and 4% Malbec.
