Renaissance Vineyard and Winery return and refund policy

 

Our Current Wines:

Under California law, it is illegal to return wines once sold, except for defective wines, which may be returned for credit or replacement within thirty (30) days of purchase. All returned wines must be accompanied with a receipt, the bottle, and over 50% of the wine intact. 

 

Renaissance Vintage and Older Wines:

We do our best to ensure proper temperature-controlled storage and provenance. However, we cannot be responsible for wines older than five years from the latest vintage. This is a wine industry standard. 

 

In dealing with rare and aged wines corks can break.  This might lead you think a brittle or cracking cork may indicate a defective product. This is not necessarily the case as corks do age along with the wine and can become broken and break. In some wines even a seeping cork may not indicate a bad wine. These issues do not assure the wines are defective. In most of these cases when you open a vintage wine and the cork breaks, simply strain and decant the wine removing the cork pieces. With aged wines we always recommend you use and AH-SO style wine opener.

 

Freight and in-transit damage

If a wine is damaged by heat during shipping, we will help resolve the matter with the shipper. However, we will only refund up to the insured amount. If no insurance is purchased, then the maximum amount refunded will be $100.

 

To start a return, contact your salesperson or email manuel@renaissancewinery.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. All returned wines must be accompanied with a receipt, the bottle, and over 50% of the wine intact. 

 

You can always contact us for any return question at manuel@renaissancewinery.com .To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

 

Damage claims on our wines are very rare and we take each claim with the importance that is intended and expected by Renaissance and you the customer. You may also initiate a return by calling 1-530-692-3159
